职员会计(全职)

职员会计, 连同控制器, directs and coordinates the accounting and finance operations of 具有里程碑意义的大学, helping to ensure the fiscal integrity and long-term financial viability of the College. Responsibilities include payroll processing, maintenance of financial records; reconciliation of general ledger accounts, including cash accounts; reconciliation of payroll activities; preparation and payment of taxes and related reports; payment of fringe benefits; preparation of internal financial reporting; financial analyses; and other supervisory, 监督, management and analytical functions as assigned.

具体职责:

  • Prepare and process payroll through the payroll service timely and accurately, including related taxes and benefits.
  • Maintain and reconcile accounting and payroll data for the general ledger and subsidiary financial records necessary to fully document balance sheet position and income statement activity.
  • 编制会计资料, records and reporting for accounts payable, receivable and all operating funds received including gifts, state and federal student financial aid, state and federal grants and contracts, and special projects to ensure the prompt and accurate fulfillment of Landmark's financial obligations.
  • Assist with cash flow management and preparation of cash flow forecasts.
  • 支持和协助员工, faculty and students with questions related to payroll policies and procedures.
  • Assist with maintenance of internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Prepares reports and analyses for internal and external constituencies as required.
  • Prepare special reports and perform other related duties to ensure effective and efficient operation of the unit.

资格及技能要求:

A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or comparable experience required. Must have working knowledge of payroll processing, 具备较强的分析能力, be proficient with electronic spreadsheets (Excel), and computerized accounting software; knowledge of Dynamics Great Plains is a plus. A strong work history and knowledge of not for-profit and/or educational financial practices a plus. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, along with the ability to interpret and explain financial data to non-specialists are preferred. Ability to communicate with staff and all Landmark employees and the ability to deal with sensitive and confidential data and situations are required.
